About Us

Our staff is comprised of formerly incarcerated individuals who understand and recognize the value of lived experience. They bring a unique perspective and a deep understanding of resilience, social barriers, and community needs. Their contributions enrich our outreach and engagement efforts, fostering trust and support to our members.

We also have licensed professionals (RN and LPCC) on staff ensuring clinical expertise and therapeutic support services. Our nurse oversees medical care coordination and chronic disease management, while the clinician provides behavioral health services, trauma-informed care, and psychosocial assessments to address mental health and emotional well-being. 

Founded in April 2021 and firmly established by March 2023, Next Move Best Move began as a heartfelt vision in the home of our founder, Dayna Moore. With unwavering determination and a passion for meaningful change, Dayna partnered with an exceptional team of dedicated colleagues—Tiffany Sterling, Shayna Hollinquest, and Tiffany Thomas—to create a transformative program offering impactful services such as case management, housing resources, domestic violence resources, and anger management resources.

Together, we have built a purpose-driven organization grounded in a shared commitment to serving justice-impacted individuals. At Next Move Best Move, we believe in the power of second chances and are devoted to providing the tools, support, and opportunities our clients need to thrive. Our work is guided by compassion and a relentless dedication to ensuring underserved communities receive the care and resources they deserve to rebuild their lives, achieve growth, and unlock their potential.
